Let’s clear something up right now, before we even get comfortable.

The Plug’s Pages Magazine has been around for years.
It’s an established platform.
A respected voice.
A real pillar in cannabis culture.

What didn’t exist a year ago was Talk Cannabis.

No YouTube channel.
No Facebook group.
No ecosystem built around honest reviews, humor, education, and community.

That part — that was built from scratch.
Independently run.
Fully committed.
By me — OG Strain.

Both feet in. No hesitation.

When Independent Energy Meets Established Power

I didn’t start Strain’s Strain Reviews (Talk Cannabis) chasing clout.
I started it chasing truth — good weed, bad weed, great people, real stories.

Somewhere along the way, the right eyes landed on it.

Afroman endorsed the channel.

That alone could’ve been the moment.

But instead, it was the beginning.

Soon after, The Plug’s Pages Magazine featured me — and not long later, I became a writer, an author, part of a family I already respected. Not replacing anything. Adding to it.

That’s how real growth happens.

What followed wasn’t strategy — it was connection.

I started building relationships with people who actually move culture:
